VOTF Election Results
Dear VOTF Members,
The Board of Trustees appointed the undersigned as an Elections Committee to review and monitor the 2008 election of national Officers and to authenticate the results. After reporting the results to the Board of Trustees, the Elections Committee is pleased to announce the new VOTF Officers. They will assume their new positions on March 15, 2008.

In total, 2088 members cast ballots, an 18% increase over the last election. Of the 2088 members who voted, 203 submitted optional comments on their ballot. For the information of VOTF members, a link to these comments, without any names and other identifying information, will be available shortly on the VOTF website.The Elections Committee would like to thank Executive Director Donna Doucette and the members of the VOTF staff who worked tirelessly to assist us in establishing the VOTF elections website, conducting candidate forums and making sure that members had the maximum opportunity to vote. We also thank all members who voted in this important election. We will prepare a report to the Board of Trustees on the lessons learned from this election process and recommendations for improving the next election.
